MMR Information Systems Hosts Open House for Physicians With Kodak in Attendance November 4-5 at Fall Health IT Summit in Beverly Hills

Doctors May Qualify for Stimulus Funds Under Obama HITECH Act

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - October 22, 2009) - MMR Information Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: MMRF) announced today that it will host an Open House, joined by representatives from Kodak Corporation, for physicians at the Fall Health IT Summit on November 4-5, in Beverly Hills. The Open House will give local area physicians and guests of the conference hands-on demonstrations of the Company's new MMRPro product. Kodak Corporation is supplying the Kodak 520 Scan Station and Capture Pro software as part of the bundled MMRPro solution.

MMRPro provides doctors with a cost-efficient solution for digitizing patient records and storing them in a secure, Web-based portal. The service also allows patients to view their records through a separate secure portal called MMRPatientView. Patients are able to upgrade their patient view to a full MyMedicalRecords PHR account, which generates revenues to liquidate the cost of the MMRPro solution to health care professionals. Because MMRPro also is integrated with an e-Prescribe module (H2H) and integrates with a real time deployment of a PHR, it potentially allows doctors to qualify for stimulus funds under the HITECH Act that was signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009.

"Automated physician entry of prescriptions was identified as one area that would be required for stimulus funds," noted Robert H. Lorsch, Chairman and CEO of MMR Information Systems, Inc. "We believe our integrated e-Prescribe gives the many doctors who do not yet have an EMR to take a meaningful step to be eligible to receive monies from the HITECH Act. Having executives from Kodak joining MMR at the Health IT Summit to showcase our MMR Professional product, reflects the level of interest Kodak has in the commercial release of MMRPro."
