SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - October 27, 2009) - nexTier Networks, the company redefining
data leak prevention (DLP) with semantic analysis, today announced it has
extended its channel presence to EMEA and further expanded its channel
foothold within the U.S. government vertical. The DLP expert has signed on
three new partners in the channel -- a U.S. channel partner focused on the
government space and two value-added distributors (VADs) in EMEA. These new
partners add to nexTier's growing worldwide channel partner base to deliver
the industry's turnkey, next-generation DLP security appliance.
Through the nexTier Advantage Partner Program, the new channel partners are
poised to bring nexTier's unique semantic analysis-based DLP appliances to
their respective markets. Pre-built and pre-configured, the Compliance
Enforcer 100 and Compliance Enforcer 200 appliances were designed to solve
several key problems businesses are facing with other DLP solutions -- most
notably that of managing unstructured data. Using semantic analysis,
Compliance Enforcer appliances offer a stronger and more effective way of
securing unstructured data.
nexTier has enlisted McLean, Va.-based Government Sales Force LLC (GSF) to
deepen its presence in the government vertical. With a proven track record
in government sales, GSF understands the unique challenges of the market
and how best to position technology to break into the public sector.
"nexTier Networks' Compliance Enforcer appliances offer a unique and
powerful tool in an organization's security strategy. Security is, of
course, of paramount importance to government departments and agencies,"
said Mark Hogan, CEO of Government Sales Force LLC. "With nexTier, we can
provide a differentiated product to our customers that not only fulfills
their needs, but does so in a turnkey fashion. It can be out of the box and
ready to go in less than 45 minutes."
Meanwhile, as nexTier continues to build on its success in North America,
it is also expanding into EMEA with Intertec Systems LLC of Dubai and its
Mumbai, India-based sister concern, Intertec Software Pvt. Ltd. Combined,
the two VADs are providing a comprehensive, turnkey appliance and software
solution that will enable nexTier to expand its reach across the GCC Gulf
Countries and Indian Markets.
"nexTier Networks has provided us with a product that will enable our VADs
to better position themselves as best-of-breed DLP solution providers,"
said Naresh Kothari, Managing Director at Intertec Systems LLC. "The quick
deployment time and ease of use of the products make them ideal for our
resellers, who are often fulfilling their integration roles under strict
timeframes."
"These new partnerships with Government Sales Force, Intertec Systems and
Intertec Software will expand our presence in both the government vertical
and the EMEA region, which will open up our solutions to even more
customers and resellers," said Tarique Mustafa, CEO and founder of nexTier
Networks. "Our Compliance Enforcer appliances are ideally suited to VARs,
VADs, systems integrators and distributors worldwide because they tackle
common DLP problems in a unique way but without adding unnecessary
complexity on top of the functionality. It makes the partner's job that
much easier."
