NetApp Awarded First WSCA/NASPO Master Price Agreement

VIENNA, VA--(Marketwire - October 28, 2009) - NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) today announced it has been awarded a WSCA/NASPO Master Price Agreement by the State of Minnesota, Materials Management Division (MMD), on behalf of the Western States Contracting Agency (WSCA) and the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO). The agreement makes NetApp a qualified provider of cost-effective storage solutions for states, cities, counties, public schools, and institutions of higher education in participating states.

NetApp WSCA/NASPO customers will be serviced by select local NetApp partners who have been authorized specifically for their primary states. These resellers focus on assisting WSCA/NASPO customers in the purchase and use of NetApp products available under the contract and will:

• Provide quoting and configuration services.
• Supply expert technical assistance.
• Support field sales and engineering staff.
• Selected resellers will host an electronic catalog for WSCA/NASPO and support online ordering and tracking.

The Master Price Agreement, which became effective on September 1, 2009, has a three-year term, with the option to extend on an annual basis for two additional one-year terms. Most states either have a signed contract or authorize their local units of government to sign a participating addendum to use the contract.

The Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) was formed in October 1993 by the state purchasing directors from fifteen NASPO western states. The primary purpose of creating WSCA was to establish the means by which participating states may join together in cooperative multi-state contracting.
