Eurohypo Capital Funding Trust I: Notification for holders of
equity-related instruments

Ad-hoc notification in accordance with section 15 WpHG (German Securities
Trading Act)


In case of a net loss at the Eurohypo AG, the liquidation of reserves or
special reserves (Sonderposten according to § 340g German Commercial Code)
for the granting of profit-related payments on equity related instruments
is not permitted further to Commerzbank EU regulations and to the
agreements with the SoFFin. In this case profit- related equity instruments
may not be serviced. For the 2009 business year for both Eurohypo AG und
Group a negative annual result (net loss) is expected.

For the equity related instruments of Eurohypo Capital Funding Trust I with
ISIN XS0169058012, Luxembourg, also held by retail investors, this means
that no coupon payment can be expected for the year 2009.
