BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking Hires for Fixed Income in New York


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - November 4, 2009) - BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the following appointments to its Fixed Income business in New York.

Sean Farrell joins as a Managing Director to head the newly formed US Short Term team that has been created to cover accounts for both Rates and Credit short duration products. Sean brings 22 years of experience to the role including positions held at Countrywide and UBS. He reports to Patrick McKee, head of North America credit sales and Mallory Brooks, head of US Interest Rate Sales.

Marc Badner starts as a Managing Director in North American credit sales. He joins from RBS where he spent 4 years in credit sales and prior to that worked at Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. In his new role he will cover hedge funds, insurance companies and asset managers. He reports to Patrick McKee.

Joseph Lyons joins as a Director in North America credit sales. Joseph has been working in North American credit markets for 9 years, 4 of those at Goldman Sachs in Chicago and 5 at Morgan Stanley in New York and Chicago. He also reports to Patrick McKee.

Keith Price joins as a Director in the US inflation business where he has started trading TIPS. He brings a wide-array of client-franchise development and risk management skills. His career includes positions at Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital. Keith reports to Jeremie Banet, head of US Inflation trading.
