Premier Alliance Group, Inc. Announces the Appointment of Richard Gibbons as the New Governance Risk and Compliance Practice Director

CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwire - November 23, 2009) - Premier Alliance Group, Inc. (OTCBB: PIMO), a business and technology consulting firm, announced today that Richard Gibbons has joined the company and is leading the GRC Practice within Premier Alliance Group, Inc.

Globally, the GRC Consulting business has seen an explosion of growth, with AMR Research and Gartner both estimating that companies' GRC-related spending will exceed $30 Billion in 2009 and will grow 25% annually over the next several years.

Mr. Gibbons is a recognized thought-leader and practitioner in corporate governance, risk management and compliance ("GRC") and has been engaged in consultative efforts for global multi-sector tier-one institutions since 2000.
