SMS Concast and Agellis form equipment supply partnership

SMS Concast, the worldwide competence centre for long product steel
meltshops within the SMS group, and AGELLIS Group, innovative
supplier of measurement equipment for the global metals industry,
entered into cooperation on supply of equipment for electromagnetic
mould level control.
SMS Concast and Agellis have agreed to cooperate to be able to offer
steel producers the most effective casting control solutions. SMS
Concast is the leading supplier of equipment also for continuous
casting in which mould level control systems are of paramount
importance and Agellis has an innovative and robust solution for
precise level measurement in the mould.
In entering into this cooperation SMS Concast and Agellis have agreed
to work closely together with each other when electromagnetic mould
level control is required for new steel plants or in large projects.
In parallel, Agellis will continue to sell directly to end customers
around the world.
