-- Unheralded Product Innovation -- Version 2.0 of the ExtraHop
Application Delivery Assurance system represents the industry's only 10GbE
solution for integrated network and application visibility. For the first
time, enterprise organizations have deep visibility into the critical
application layer of the network (L7) that other monitoring tools simply
cannot provide.
-- Triple-Digit Sales Growth -- Despite shrinking IT budgets, dozens of
Global 1000 enterprise companies (including Microsoft, Nintendo, McAfee,
and Alaska Airlines) have deployed both the 1GbE and 10GbE ExtraHop
appliance in their data centers.
-- Strategic Funding -- Led by Madrona Ventures Group, ExtraHop Networks
closed a Series A round of $5.1M in April 2009. The round also included a
strategic investment from Internet pioneer Marc Andreessen and former CEO
of Opsware, Ben Horowitz.
-- Expansion of Sales Channel and Internal Team -- During the course of
2009, the company expanded its North American sales channel by signing
agreements with more than 15 channel partners. ExtraHop Networks is engaged
on all levels with these partners, from joint marketing and sales calls to
enablement and support. In addition, ExtraHop Networks more than doubled
its staff during 2009 in the critical areas of sales, product development,
and customer support.
