HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft has decided, together with HOCHTIEF Concessions
AG, not to pursue further the plans of an IPO of HOCHTIEF
Concessions AG for the time being. As a result of the most recent
disturbances in the international capital markets, the capital market
environment has deteriorated decisively. Under these conditions, the target
value defined by the two companies cannot be realized. For the Management
teams of both companies, an under-value sale is out of the question.
