Cramo signs a significant agreement with Herlev hospital in Denmark
Equipment rental company Cramo A/S, the Danish wholly-owned subsidiary of Cramo
Plc, has signed an agreement whereby all existing rental agreements with Herlev
hospital are extended until 1 January 2018. The new deal secures Cramo a total
firm order backlog of about 83 MDKK (about 11 MEUR). The contract also includes
a sale of 45 previously rented modular space units. The impact of this deal on
Cramo A/S's revenues is approximately 8.4 MDKK (about 1.1 MEUR) by the end of
2009.
Cramo A/S is one of Denmark's leading equipment rental companies with a complete
portfolio of rental products and services, which are offered through 17 depots
in Denmark. Herlev hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Denmark, and is
undergoing a huge renovation and enlargement by 2012. Modular space units will
be used as hospital wards, but also adapted for use as receptions, clinics,
research laboratories, radiotherapy and personnel hotels.
“The magnitude of the order, and the complexities involved provides an excellent
platform to develop our unique competence in this rapidly growing area further”,
says CEO Vesa Koivula in a comment.
Beside the modular space units the agreements also include maintenance, alarm
systems and facility management services.
“We are very proud to have the capacity and know-how to deliver such specialised
solutions”, says Ole Wamsler, Managing Director of Cramo A/S, Denmark.
