Grasbrunn, Munich, December 17, 2009; Wirecard AG signed a purchase
agreement on December 16, 2009 for the acquisition of E-Credit Plus Pte.
Ltd., Singapore. The final closing is planned to be concluded by the time
of the acquisition date, January 1, 2010. The E-Credit Group, comprising
E-Credit Plus Pte. Ltd. ('E-Credit') and its subsidiaries, is engaged in
the field of online payment processing, predominantly on behalf of
eCommerce merchants in the eastern Asian region.

In doing so, Wirecard AG plans to extend its existing presence in eastern
Asia with its Philippine subsidiary Wirecard Asia Pacific. Markus Braun,
CEO of Wire Card AG commented as follows: 'With the acquisition of
E-Credit, we are continuing our expansion in the Asian region. We
anticipate our operations in Asia to generate synergy effects for the Group
as a whole.'

The cash purchase price amounts to about 9.5 million euros plus an earn-out
component measured according to the operating profit of the E-Credit Group
in the year 2010 and may reach up to roughly 2.5 million euros. For the
forthcoming year, a contribution to Group earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) is expected to amount to at least 1.4 million euros.
