After her three sons were diagnosed with autism, Bridget Lane was inspired
to find a way so those with autism and other special needs always have a
job. Leveraging her love of baking, Lane turned to LegalZoom to complete a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit filing for her One Mom on a Mission Charity and its fundraising
arm, Helping Hands Bakery. Lane's effort has made a difference in the
community by giving those with special needs valuable vocational training
at the Helping Hands Bakery.
First Prize, $3,000 -- The Sullivan Family

Pete and Christy Sullivan fell in love, got married and before they knew
it, had two kids of their own. In between the rush of starting a family,
the Sullivans also moved to Boston and Christy graduated from medical
school. While short on money, the Sullivans wanted to protect their most
valuable assets -- their two children. By visiting LegalZoom, the Sullivans
were able to complete their last will and protect their children.
$100 Prize for Every Entrant
After reviewing the videos from all of the entrants, LegalZoom made the
decision to award every eligible entrant a $100 prize for sharing their
inspiring story. "Everyone who entered is a winner because they have taken
the important step towards turning an idea into reality or protecting the
ones they love," said Suh.
