IASA and Eide Bailly LLP Revive IASA Desert States Chapter
Kick-Off Meeting and Conference to Be Held Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - December 22, 2009) - The Insurance Accounting & Systems Association,
Inc. (IASA), with the volunteer support of Eide Bailly LLP, is revitalizing
the Desert States Chapter of IASA. IASA, a not-for-profit educational
association focusing on the finance and technology areas of the insurance
industry, has 28 chapters throughout the United States that provide
networking opportunities and peer-to-peer educational events.
Formally known as the Arizona Chapter, the Desert States Chapter consists
of insurance industry professionals in Arizona and New Mexico. This chapter
provides a critical link for insurance professionals in the area who need
continuing professional education (CPE) credits. Eide Bailly LLP, a
top-rated CPA firm providing a full-range of services to insurance
companies as well as companies in other industries, is hosting a kick-off
meeting for the Desert States Chapter on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, from
7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the company's office located at 1850 North
Central Avenue, Suite 400, in Phoenix.
The kick-off meeting will include a National Association of Insurance
Commissioners (NAIC) Update and a presentation on Enterprise Risk
Management (ERM). Four hours of insurance-related CPE will be offered. The
event is open to all interested professionals, and participants need not be
a member of IASA to attend. Registration is required for this event. The
cost is $25, and the registration fee includes both breakfast and lunch.
