Hamburg, 21 January, 2010 - Asian Bamboo AG ('Asian Bamboo', 'the Company',

bamboo trees and organic bamboo shoots, is pleased to announce that it has
appointed Deutsche Bank as the depositary bank for its American Depositary
Receipt ('ADR') trading programme. The details of the ADR programme are:
