Notice to the Market: BRMALLS Announces Acquisition of Land Bank in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - February 10, 2010) - BRMALLS (BOVESPA: BRML3) announces
that it has concluded the acquisition of an ideal fraction of 51% of a land
bank with 105,000 m² of total area located on Av. Rotary, in the
municipality of São Bernardo do Campo, situated in the state of São Paulo.
In this area, BRMALLS plans to develop a mixed use project including a
Shopping Mall with a total GLA (Gross Leasable Area) of approximately
35,000 m² and a potential for further expansion increasing the GLA up to
55,000m². BRMALLS will be responsible in developing the project, managing
and leasing the shopping mall.
São Bernardo do Campo is located 21 km from São Paulo. The municipality's
economy is mainly dependant on the auto industry and service sector and is
one of the most developed of São Paulo. The acquired land is of easy
access, right next to Anchieta Highway and less than 1km from the south
stretch of the Rodoanel beltway. The population of the region is of
approximately 811 thousand inhabitants, the fourth largest in the state,
mainly concentrated in the primary and secondary zones to the land bank.
