RIOTORTO, Italy, Feb. 11, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Global Community for Integrative Medicine announces today their first annual global conference in Tuscany, Italy April 14-18, 2010. During this time of crisis around the world economically, these complimentary healers come together to help support each other as they step forward, aiding one country at a time.
The Global Community for Integrative Medicine has designed a team approach to healing. An integrative body of healers made up of doctors, nurses, therapists, nutritionists, energy facilitators, hypnotherapists, and other complimentary care facilitators, have come together in their community, stepping out of the isolation of their practices. Sharing in a collaborative fashion while dispelling myths around their work, they have developed a model of team healing, allowing the patient to have one hour of healing from 4-6 different modalities.
"Our philosophy is that true healing takes into account the physical aspect of the patient, and also the emotional, energetic, and spiritual side, which our models address at all times with all clients," says Saundra Blum, past life therapist and co-organizer of the global conference. "We see ourselves as an on-going resource for global healing professionals and we are looking forward to sharing our practices with individuals around the world."
