TEMECULA, CA--(Marketwire - February 16, 2010) - Industry leader PlantCML®, an EADS North
America company, today announced that wholly owned subsidiary, Dialogic
Communications Corporation (DCC), and its affiliated brands are now
consolidated into one brand, that of PlantCML. This strategic move folds
DCC's notification solutions and services into the company's full-circle
security and communications portfolio, comprised of critical call center
applications and P25 land mobile radio networks.
Like the patented REVERSE 911® emergency notification system provided by
PlantCML, DCC's globally recognized software applications, The
Communicator!® NXT™, GeoCast® Web™, and NetNotify™, are now available
through PlantCML's Notification Solutions and Services (NSS) business unit.
So too is the company's interactive voice response system, Frontwave®,
which is used by commercial call centers in the U.S. and abroad.
While the DCC brand has changed, its office, located in Franklin, Tennessee
(a suburb of Nashville), will remain integral to serving clients ranging
from public safety operations to Fortune 1000 corporations to federal
agencies. Led by Bob Freinberg, vice president and general manager, all NSS
product development, technical support, field services and sales efforts
will continue to be managed from this location.
"Today's challenges call for innovative solutions," said Freinberg. "Our
customers expect notification solutions and services to make everyday
operations easier and more efficient. These same solutions must easily
scale to support larger incidents and emergencies. Becoming a fundamental
part of the PlantCML master brand will allow us to leverage established
market leadership, the global assets of EADS and better deliver on these
expectations."
Used by hundreds of public and private organizations globally, PlantCML's
notification solutions and services provide full automation of list- and
map-based communications procedures. The applications enable immediate,
multi-modal notification of target audiences, intelligently mobilizing
personnel (e.g., first responders, employees, volunteers, etc.) for
emergency response or alerting the public-at-large. Notable uses include
9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the 2009 California wildfires and most recently,
the H1N1 pandemic.
PlantCML's market leadership and market dominance, coupled with the
resources of parent EADS North America, which is part of a global defense
company of approximately $60B USD in revenue, makes it possible to take the
critical communications industry into the next generation -- one that
applies a holistic approach enabling public and private operations to
improve situational awareness, expedite response, promote collaboration and
increase efficiency.
