NEW YORK, Feb. 16, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced that Cadbury PLC (United Kingdom, Food & Beverage, CBRY.LN) will be removed from the Dow Jones Food and Beverage Titans 30 and Dow Jones U.K. Titans 50 indexes due to its acquisition by Kraft Foods Inc. (United States, Food & Beverage, KFT).
In the Dow Jones Food and Beverage Titans 30 Index, Cadbury PLC (United Kingdom, Food & Beverage, CBRY.LN) will be replaced by BRF-Brasil Foods S/A Ord (Brazil, Food & Beverage, BRFS3.BR).
In the Dow Jones U.K. Titans 50 Index, Cadbury PLC (United Kingdom, Food & Beverage, CBRY.LN) will be replaced by International Power PLC (United Kingdom, Utilities, IPR.LN).
