Timebridge Gets Personal With New Meetwith.Me Link and LinkedIn Integration

TimeBridge Helps Busy People Meet With Ease and Context

BERKELEY, CA--(Marketwire - February 22, 2010) -  TimeBridge, the service that helps busy professionals schedule and run great meetings, today announced its MeetWith.Me™ functionality, a personal link that allows users to post, publish and socialize their availability, and enable seamless scheduling. TimeBridge also released the new LinkedIn Profile Widget today, which allows attendees to easily view each other's LinkedIn profiles without leaving the TimeBridge Meeting Room. These new features propel and enhance the meeting process, giving relevant context to the meeting and eliminating the hiccups and hoops that prevent busy people from finding a time to meet.

MeetWith.Me works great for one-on-one meetings, and acts like a public calendar, but hides private details. This personalized URL lets colleagues and friends see busy and available time-blocks on users' schedules so they know when the user is free to meet. Visitors can propose up to five potential times to meet and the calendar owner can confirm whichever time works best. Once the meeting is scheduled, logistics are automatically shared, including phone and web conferencing for members of TimeBridge's premium service, TimeBridge Plus. MeetWith.Me also enables the option to set customized "business hours" to control availability time frames for potential meetings. This feature is especially useful for sales professionals who need to meet with prospects during regular business hours.

TimeBridge users can claim their own personal link, http://meetwith.me/[your name]. Users' availability is published at that web address directly from their Outlook, Google or Apple iCal calendars. MeetWith.Me links can then be embedded and socialized through various social channels, including the user's:

  • LinkedIn page
  • Email signature
  • Facebook page
  • Instant message profile or status
  • Blog profile
  • Twitter profile or status

The LinkedIn Profile Widget delivers key intelligence to all meeting participants. Simply put, it lets users pop up and display each attendee's current occupation and position, education, as well as relevant links via their LinkedIn profile. This information lets attendees easily acquaint themselves with any pertinent background information and move beyond introductions to the work at hand. This integration further broadens attendees' professional network and allows them to easily make connections with new colleagues on LinkedIn.

"People are looking for ways to further expedite meeting scheduling, share intelligence and drive productivity," said Yori Nelken, CEO of TimeBridge. "With the LinkedIn Profile Widget and MeetWith.Me link, TimeBridge is creating a more personal and engaged meeting environment. Here, the scheduling and introduction processes are further liberated from endless email strings and phone calls and instead socialized to the right people in the right places, making scheduling faster and more personal."
