SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - February 23, 2010) -  Today Bizmore, the leading business advice platform for small and mid-sized businesses, announced open nominations for The Bizzies -- Bizmore's first-ever award program acknowledging the best of the small business community. The top tools, solutions and resources for small businesses, startups and entrepreneurs will be recognized in seven categories.

Recipients of The Bizzies will be chosen through a two-step process:

1. Open Nominations: Users are invited to visit The Bizzies nomination page to enter their choices in as many or as few of the seven categories as they wish. Nominations will open Tuesday, February 23 at 9:00 am PST and end Wednesday, March 3 at 11:59 pm PST.

2. Open Voting: Users are invited to visit The Bizzies voting page to vote for the top three nominees in each category. Voting will open Tuesday, March 9 at 9:00 am PST and end Tuesday, March 16 at 11:59 pm PST. Users will be able to vote once per IP address in as many categories as they wish by using a simple submission form.

No registration or fees are required to nominate or vote. The process can be completed with only a few clicks. Nomination, voting and results will all be hosted at the official Bizzies web page at www.bizmore.com/bizzies.

The winners will be announced on Thursday, March 18.
