Narus Demonstrates Thought Leadership in Cyber Security at RSA Conference 2010

Industry Leader in Real-Time Traffic Intelligence to Provide Compelling Perspectives in High-Level Panel Discussion and Technical Speaking Sessions

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - February 23, 2010) -

WHAT:

Narus, Inc., the leader in real-time traffic intelligence, announced today that it will participate in the 2010 RSA Conference with a panel discussion and two technical sessions. Narus will also showcase its technology in hands-on demonstrations at its booth, No. 2117.

Moderated by Wall Street Journal reporter Siobhan Gorman, the star-studded panel "Delivering a Unified and Resilient National Cyber Security Framework" delves into the Obama Administration's concentrated effort to protect the U.S. national infrastructure from cyber threats, and the pitfalls it has encountered thus far in doing so. The panelists will discuss how this problem may be solved with cooperation between government and the private sector. Top national security advisors Melissa Hathaway and Bill Crowell will join industry thought leaders Narus CEO Greg Oslan and Cisco CSO John Stewart for this lively discussion.

Narus has also been selected to present two sessions on combating cyber crime. "Shedding Light on the Dark Cyber World" will be led by Narus CTO Dr. Antonio Nucci, who will present novel biometric techniques that increase the understanding of the dialects spoken in the cyber world; identify cyber users whose activity and content may harm the cyber world; and gain visibility into the real person behind a cyber-identifier used to enter the cyber world.

In the second session, "Protect National Networks Against Cyber Attacks With Real-Time Traffic Intelligence," Narus' Paul Zoda will demonstrate the advantages of implementing a real-time traffic intelligence system to protect and manage large, complex IP critical networks from malicious activity.

Narus executives will be available at the Narus booth, No. 2117, during the conference to discuss the current state of cyber security, and how a proven real-time traffic intelligence system like NarusInsight can provide critical knowledge to manage and protect large, complex IP networks. Product overviews and hands-on demonstrations will also be showcased at the booth.
