Create a Work of Art or Vote for Your Favorite Tape Sculpture
ST. PAUL, MN--(Marketwire - February 25, 2010) - From jellyfish, octopuses and peacocks to dragons, fruit baskets and even a wind turbine, there are more than 75 sculptures to vote for in the Scotch Off the Roll Tape Sculpture Contest, sponsored by 3M. The contest invites creative minds to submit photos of their unique tape sculpture -- constructed from Scotch Packaging Tape -- for the chance to win a $5,000 cash prize. The deadline to submit a tape sculpture or vote for your favorite "sticky" sculpture is February 28, 2010.
In addition to online voting, submissions will also be judged by a panel of noted artists, including DC-based artist Mark Jenkins who is most widely known for the street art installations he creates using Scotch Packaging Tape.
