Conference & Exhibition
WHO: Buzz Aldrin became one of the first two humans to set foot on the
Moon on July 20, 1969. Credited as being a key player in the
success of the Apollo space program, Dr. Aldrin, with a Ph.D. in
Astronautics from MIT, developed the tools and procedures
necessary without which Apollo could not have been successfully
completed.
Hector V. Barreto, who worked with the Chilean government as
Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, will
discuss the earthquake disaster in Chile. During his five-year
tenure as SBA Chief starting in July 2001, he worked with small
business counterparts in Chile and, at home in the U.S., oversaw
the agency's response during the 9/11 attack.
Robert H. "Bob" Lorsch, founder and CEO of MMR Information
Systems, Inc. and a well-known marketing innovator, shows how
widespread implementation of digital medical records does not
require rocket science, just the right stimulus.
SPECIAL: Buzz Aldrin is scheduled to be in MyMedicalRecords Booth 5539 on
Monday, March 1 where HIMSS10 attendees will get the opportunity
to have their photo taken with the Apollo 11 astronaut. MMR with
the assistance of Kodak will set up against a green screen to
produce a commemorative photo of stepping on the Moon with Buzz
Aldrin.
