Major shareholder announcement from Rockwool Foundation

With reference to company announcement 6/2009 of 5 May 2009 regarding the offer
from the Rockwool Foundation to exchange other shareholders' A shares for
Rockwool Foundation B shares for up to 600,000 B shares Rockwool International
A/S hereby announces pursuant to Section 29 of the Danish Securities Trading
Act that it has received information that the Rockwool Foundation's holding of
shares in Rockwool International A/S after multiple exchanges totals 4,712,642
A-shares of DKK 10 nominal value and 309,410 B-shares of DKK 10 nominal value
equivalent to a total of 22.85 % of the share capital and a total of 33.97 % of
the voting rights.
