SAO PAULO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - March 11, 2010) - Trustwave, a leading provider of information security and compliance solutions, announces the appointment of Celso Hummel to Channel Manager for Trustwave Brazil.

Hummel has more than 15 years of experience in the information security and computer forensics industries, specifically in Brazil. Hummel spent several years at TechBiz Forense Digital, most recently as government and channel manager for Brazil where he developed the company's sales process. Previously, Hummel worked at SonicWALL serving as a sales engineer for all of South America. His deep product understanding enabled him to define sales strategy and train staff and customers, alike.

At Trustwave Brazil, Hummel will be responsible for channel development. Hummel will develop partnerships with key Brazilian security and technology integrators and Internet service providers to further penetrate the local market with Trustwave's information security solutions, including managed security services, data loss prevention, network access control and encryption. Hummel will also be responsible for identifying, training, and supporting channel partners, from both a technical and sales perspective. His knowledge of computer forensics will help him identify and fulfill channel partners' advanced security needs with such services as penetration testing, incident response and forensics, application security and security research.
