Finnair Technical Services concluded an agreement with Swedish charter operator Nova Airlines AB (Novair). The agreement includes availability, repair and logistical services for the components. The agreement covers support for three Novair A321 aircraft. The comprehensive component support agreement for the next six years is an important step in executing the strategy of Finnair Technical Services and expands the A320 family product portfolio for third party customers. "We have established our cooperation with Novair in 2005 by performing C-checks for them. We are very pleased to expand our cooperation to the component support. The agreement is important for Finnair Technical Services and it strengthens our position as an Airbus 320 family maintenance provider in Europe. It also indicates the competitiveness of Finnair Technical Services especially in the maintenance market of the Nordic countries", says Sales Manager Arne Ziessler from Finnair Technical Services. Novair is part of the Swedish tour operator Apollo Group. Novair operates charter traffic to destinations in Europe, Caribbean, Africa and Asia. Novair's A321 fleet consists of three aircraft. Finnair Technical Services' annual turnover is over €200 million, including the Finnair group and third party customers.
