Law Enforcement Associates Names Director of Training


RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - April 13, 2010) -  Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (LEA) (OTCBB: LAWE), a leading U.S.-based developer, manufacturer and distributor of electronic surveillance and monitoring equipment, today announced the appointment of Dan Heinz as director of training.

Heinz, who also will head LEA's National Surveillance Academy, joins the Company with a 28-year background in law enforcement, including work as a deputy sheriff, drug task force special agent and multiple supervisory positions through the rank of lieutenant. He also has served as an expert witness in both narcotics enforcement and surveillance operations at the state and federal levels. Heinz was most recently training manager for the North Carolina Department of Justice at the Justice Academy.
