Granite Hill Estates to Conduct Life Enrichment Seminars

The First Session Is Monday, April 19, and Is Open to the Public

HALLOWELL, ME--(Marketwire - April 13, 2010) - Granite Hill Estates (GHE) announces a new series of seminars -- Life Enrichment -- dedicated to personal, intellectual, and spiritual enrichment. The series is scheduled to include topics from holistic health to Elder Law, from meditation to computing, from Feng Shui to fearless writing.

"Because we're committed to living life to the fullest here, we're equally committed to sharing the fullness of life with the community," said Jennifer Fleck, GHE's Executive Director. "Life Enrichment will give us a chance to flex our muscles -- literally and figuratively. And it'll give us a chance to show greater Hallowell how much fun learning can be."

The first session -- "Taking Ownership of Your Well-Being" -- will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010, at 6:30 p.m., in the Maine Lodge Media Room on the Granite Hill campus. It will cover:

  • Relaxation and renewal through breathing
  • Attitude and mindset
  • Gentle stretches to keep fit
  • Nutrition, hydration, and sleep
  • Technologies that ease discomfort, improve circulation, and enhance balance
  • Better bone health.

Barbara Joseph, a holistic practitioner, educator, and consultant, who combines a variety of energy/medicine therapies in her practice, will present the session. She founded and directed Holistic Alternatives, a licensed proprietary school, approved by the Maine Department of Education, that taught the healing arts from 1998-2007. Barbara remains dedicated to informing, inspiring, and enriching people by empowering them to take ownership of their lives.

To get to Granite Hill Estates, take exit 109 from the south or 109B from the north off I-95 (Winthrop). Head west on Route 202. Take a left onto Edison Drive. GHE is on the right.
