ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - April 27, 2010) - RouteMatch Software, Inc. today announced that Boone County Transit in Indiana selected RouteMatch TS™ software, its flagship intelligent transportation system (ITS) software for automated routing, scheduling and coordination.
Boone County Senior Services, Inc., d/b/a Boone County Transit coordinated a procurement on behalf of thirteen nonurbanized area transit systems in the State of Indiana that have received grant funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. RouteMatch Software was also selected by several other nonurbanized area transit systems off of this procurement.
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) provided funding to the Indiana Department of Transportation under the authority provided in 49 U.S.C. § 5311. The procurement was conducted as a cooperative offering a diverse range of software system products, and established a schedule of prices for a complete software package including all licensing, installation, database conversion, third-party mapping products, training, hosting and one year warranty costs.
RouteMatch Software, in addition to their core Paratransit solution, will be implementing Data Management, Computer Assisted & Batch Scheduling and improved Reporting Tools. Boone County will realize significant improvements in the management of client data and scheduling as they presently use access databases and excel worksheets for these tasks.
