Telecel-Burkina Faso continues innovation trend with new platform

In just a couple of weeks, Seamless has implemented the ERS 360° platform
including modules for e-Top Up and Value Added Services (VAS), for mobile
operator Telecel IT in Burkina Faso. Telecel has high expectations of both the
enhanced VAS and the new Top Up distribution network.

Burkina Faso is one of the rapidly growing markets in the mobile
telecommunications landscape in Africa. Technology providing convenient and
affordable services proves to be a key differentiator in this market. To gain
this competitive edge, Telecel communicated their need to swiftly deploy the
ERS 360° and the Seamless Delivery Team rose to the occasion and did so in just
a couple of weeks time.

“We are impressed by the efficient delivery and extremely short time of
go-to-market”, says Arouna Tinta, Chief Technology Officer at Telecel. “We are
happy to be able to offer e-Top Up to our subscribers moving to an electronic
solution, as well as enabling VAS on the same versatile platform. The enhanced
product offering and technical foundation will strengthen our market position
in Burkina Faso. E-TopUp enables ultra low denominations so more people will be
able to buy sachets of airtime and more people will be able to enjoy the
benefits of having a mobile phone”, finishes Arouna Tinta.

“This is Seamless' fastest implementation in the company's 10 year history,
says Neeraj Agrawal, Chief Technology Officer, Seamless. “We are proud to be a
fast moving company with a sense of urgency to meet our customers' needs as
well providing smart and adaptable products that benefit both them and their
end-users. When Telecel builds their network of street resellers they will also
bring an income to thousands of people”.

Burkina Faso has a population of approximately 16 million with over 4 million
mobile phone subscribers; hence there is a high mobile usage penetration among
the population.
