That's because Terrible Herbst will be celebrating the grand opening of its newest lube and car wash with "Terrible" specials that could only come from the "best bad guy in the west."
The new lube and car wash is located at 2343 E. Warm Springs at Eastern in Las Vegas, and Terrible's will be celebrating the grand opening in grand style. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., an oil change is just $9.71, regularly priced at $31.95. Every customer who drives in will receive a free exterior express car wash.
97.1 FM The Point will be broadcasting live from 12:30-3:00 p.m. with a terrible amount of exciting giveaways, including a chance to win a Dodgers baseball package worth $500!
Making the grand opening a block party for the entire neighborhood, Sunday Slacker Magazine will organize a classic car show onsite, and as part of the show, several car-related vendors will have booths stocked with a wide range of cool merchandise.
Ed Herbst started the company in Chicago in 1932 and founded Terrible's locally in 1959. Since then, Terrible's has become a warm and friendly part of the Las Vegas landscape. The grand opening brings the total number of car washes to 38, lube locations to 22 and convenience store/gas stations to 108 in the Las Vegas area. Terrible's has more than 1,250 team members.
Terrible's Car Wash, the first "green" car wash in Nevada, has been recognized by the Southern Nevada Water Authority for being a water-smart car wash. Terrible's recycles between 40 and 50 percent of its trash, approximately nine tons per week.
