TimeBridge Brings Cross-Platform Scheduling and Web Conferencing to Google Wave

Wave Users Can Now Take Advantage of Robust TimeBridge Meeting Gadgets

BERKELEY, CA--(Marketwire - May 19, 2010) -  TimeBridge, the service that helps busy professionals schedule and run great meetings, today announced the upcoming availability of two Google Wave Gadgets, the TimeBridge Conferencing Gadget and the TimeBridge Scheduling Gadget. The combined offering brings TimeBridge's popular meeting tools right into Google Wave, delivering the first-ever opportunity for users to socialize their availability right into the Wave and enable work teams to collaborate more productively within their Wave workspace.

"At TimeBridge, we're active Wave users, leveraging the platform to work on complex projects across geographies," said Yori Nelken, founder and CEO of TimeBridge. "In our work we've seen that each Wave consistently shows potential to become an important meeting -- both impromptu and planned. It was natural, then, for us to add TimeBridge to this emerging collaborative platform. We can't wait to see how other Google Wave users like it."

With TimeBridge's Scheduling Gadget for Google Wave, teams can easily:

  • Share availability from each participant's Google Calendar, Apple iCal, or Outlook calendar, within Wave,
  • View the details of their personal calendars in the Wave,
  • Propose up to five meeting times,
  • Vote and see each Wave participants' responses in real-time,
  • Confirm a meeting time and notify attendees within the Wave.

The TimeBridge Conferencing Gadget allows teams to jump on free dedicated conference lines and Web conference URLs for immediate discussion around projects. With TimeBidge's top-of-the-line conferencing offering, the gadget further propels teams beyond independent and asynchronous work processes toward the synchronized and collaborative stages of team projects.

The combined offering, currently in private beta, kicks off the collaborative process. It helps busy people converge as teams, heightening the Google Wave experience by leveraging TimeBridge's own integration with not only Google Calendar, but also Apple iCal and Outlook. This Google Wave integration offers a truly unique opportunity for teammates to share their availability within the platform to easily meet around projects and enhance the collaborative and productive nature of the platform even further.

This announcement follows on significant TimeBridge product enhancements designed to support Google's technology. TimeBridge built Google Calendar into its availability sharing and scheduling process and also built the TimeBridge Google Calendar Gadget to schedule right from the online calendar environment. Additionally, TimeBridge also recently announced its availability in the new Google Apps Marketplace, giving Google Apps customers a way to implement simplified scheduling and meeting collaboration company-wide.
