Star Bulk Declares Dividend of $0.05 per Share for the Quarter Ending March 31, 2010


ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwire - May 19, 2010) -  Star Bulk Carriers Corp. (the "Company" or "Star Bulk") (NASDAQ: SBLK) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.05 per outstanding share of the Company's common stock for the three months ending March 31, 2010. The dividend is payable on or about June 4, 2010, to shareholders of record as of May 31, 2010.

Based on the closing price of our share on May 18, 2010, this represents an annualized dividend yield of 7.1%.
