Mats Fridolfsson appointed head of segment Sweden

Mats Fridolfsson, 48, has been appointed head of segment Sweden and member of
Studsvik´s Executive Group Management.

Mats Fridolfsson comes from Alstom Power Sweden AB where he since 2009 has held
a position as Alstom's site manager at Oskarshamn nuclear power plant. In the
period 2007-2009 he worked for Alstom as head of project management and
controller for the Swedish modernization projects. One of Mats' previous
positions was with Flextronics, improving the effectiveness of several of their
manufacturing facilities in Sweden.

Mats Fridolfsson will assume the position as head of segment Sweden August
23, 2010.

Leif Andersson, who has been employed by Studsvik for a long period, and who in
2008 was appointed head of segment Sweden, will retire.
