The new Dallas-area location is three times larger than its previous facility. Located in the high-tech business corridor of Irving, the 172,000-square-foot corporate headquarters features a state-of-the-art molecular diagnostic and anatomic pathology laboratory, housed entirely behind a wall of glass.

Caris has also tripled its square footage in Phoenix by adding a new facility, located in the burgeoning Cotton Center development. The new cutting-edge molecular laboratory space is dedicated to research, the development of new tests for cancer and sophisticated assays for pharmaceutical manufacturers. Plans for expansion of Caris' Boston facilities are also underway.
In addition to meeting the growing demand for the Company's services, the expansion also will play a pivotal role in Caris' continued development and validation of the Carisome™ platform, a proprietary blood-based technology designed to rapidly and accurately detect, as well as monitor, cancer and other complex diseases. The first in a series of testing services based on this platform will be launched later this year to aid in the management of prostate cancer.
