CORPAK Innovations Improve Enteral/Vascular Access
The Innovation Celebration, held June 8, 2010, featured 23 medical innovations that were selected by a committee of clinicians and other Premier hospital members based on their potential to improve the healthcare industry. These new devices and products, which can impact the safety, quality and cost-effectiveness of care, were showcased to more than 3,000 healthcare providers and experts.

CORTRAK® Enteral Access System - a bedside computer-assisted, real-time visual aid for the safe and accurate placement of enteral feeding tubes. The CORTRAK system's 2-D and 3-D visual guidance can replace X-rays traditionally used for confirming feeding tube placement, reducing procedural costs and allowing patients to obtain their therapy sooner, thereby improving clinical outcomes.

Navigator® BioNavigation® System - a bedside visual and audio aid for the accurate placement of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs). Similar to CORTRAK, the patented technology determines the position of vascular catheters placed at the patient bedside, eliminating the need to transfer patients to IR for the procedure and reducing multiple confirmatory X-rays.
