SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - June 11, 2010) - Following a successful distributor event in Neiva, Colombia involving 2,400 attendees, 4Life distributors, including Platinum International Diamonds Dr. Herminio Nevárez y Yadira Olivo, spent the afternoon Wednesday at Fundacion Ninos where they presented a check to Papa Jaime Jaramillo.
The donation amount of $130,000 USD was gathered from pledges made at the International Networkers Team convention in Panama. Additional donations for the charity continue to be collected with the inspiration of Platinum International Diamonds Juan Rosado y Damaris Zapata.
The funds will be used to build a new house for Jaramillo's non-profit organization, Children of the Andes. This new facility will assist in better facilitating the needs of the street children they support. Construction on the house has already begun and should be completed later this summer.
Other distributor leaders in attendance included Gold International Diamonds Giovanni Perotti, Norma Constanza Rocha Collazos, and Nidia Pinzon Lopez.
Corporate level participants included: Colombia General Manager Oscar Villabona, Logistic Chief Angel Rincon, Marketing Director Nancy Soto, Accountant Carlos Achury, and Office Assistant Jessica Vega.
