Santorelli-Bates' New Book Focusing on IVF Helps Children Understand How Loved and Wanted They Are

NEW YORK, NY and SANTA MONICA, CA--(Marketwire - June 14, 2010) -  Former Long Islander Claudia Santorelli-Bates truly understands the joys of being a parent. What's more is that she also understands how important it is, when the time is right, for children to know how they were conceived and how loved and wanted they truly are, especially when the parents have turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF). According to Santorelli-Bates, "Having a baby by way of IVF is the end of one arduous journey and the beginning of a special, welcomed one -- raising this precious miracle." And the miracle of conceiving and giving birth to child is at the heart of her critically acclaimed book, "I Can't Wait to Meet You."

Following the recommendation of experts at The Psychological Component of The American Society of Reproductive Medicine, which has taken an official position that it is in the best interests of the child conceived by the IVF method to receive full disclosure, "I Can't Wait to Meet You" helps both parents and children understand the method of conception and how much parents will invest in bringing a baby into their lives. This charming story simplifies the wonders of biology and science and allows the child to understand and visualize how he or she came to be. And just as important, this book leaves children with a sense of how loved, special and wanted they are. Copies of the book can be purchased online at: www.icantwaittomeetyou.com
