SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - June 15, 2010) - eQuest, the leading international job distributor for the Fortune 500 and the majority of the world's Applicant Tracking Systems, CRMs and ERPs, today reported a dramatic rise in both job posting delivery volumes and corporate spending for online recruitment advertising. An analysis of 100 eQuest Media customers during the first 5 months of 2010 showed a ninety-one percent (91%) increase in online recruitment spending versus the same time period a year ago.
Job posting deliveries also increased by seventy-six percent (76%) for the same time frame. The 15% difference in eQuest's media and posting growth is due to corporations purchasing advertising in advance. Over a 12-month period posting deliveries are projected to meet the percentage increase in media growth.

"With a strengthening in the annual growth rate, which is now at its strongest since April 2007, we are beginning to see a relatively positive trend emerge in the underlying demand for labor. Although levels still remain below the 2007 period, they have vastly improved from conditions we witnessed at this time last year," said Jesse Harriott, senior vice president and chief knowledge officer at Monster Worldwide.
