Movie Opening Marks First IMAX 3D PIXAR Title
LOS ANGELES, June 18, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IMAX Corporation (Nasdaq:IMAX) (TSX:IMX) and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures today announced that Toy Story 3, the third installment of the blockbuster hit franchise Toy Story, will open in 180 IMAX® domestically theatres simultaneously with its wide release on June 18, 2010. The film will also open in 76 IMAX theatres internationally, with 48 of those opening this week starting on June 16.
Toy Story 3 has been digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology.

As Andy prepares to depart for college, Buzz, Woody and the rest of his loyal toys are troubled about their uncertain future. Directed by Lee Unkrich (co-director of "Toy Story 2" and "Finding Nemo"), TOY STORY 3 is a comical new adventure in Disney Digital 3D™ that lands the toys in a room full untamed tots who can't wait to get their sticky little fingers on these "new" toys.
