OCI Construction Group Cairo, Egypt / 30 June, 2010 2:30 PM BESIX Group Awarded US$ 750 million Contract in JV with Midmac Contracting Co. to Build Phase III of the New Doha International Airport Passenger Terminal Complex Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) confirmed today that Six Construct Qatar (a fully owned subsidiary of the BESIX Group which is 50%-owned by OCI) has been awarded a US$ 750 million contract to build Phase III of the New Doha International Airport (NDIA) Passenger Terminal Complex in joint venture with the Midmac Contracting Co. Six Construct Qatar's share of the contract is approximately US$ 375 million or 50% of the total contract value. The joint venture will be responsible for all structural, mechanical and electrical works as well as design coordination for the airport lounge and retail area. The project is scheduled for completion during Q4 2012. A Six Construct/Midmac Contracting Co joint venture is currently executing work on the Doha Convention Center & Tower project awarded early 2009.
