University of Michigan Renews Multi-Year Partnership With Paciolan

Contract Extended Through 2016

IRVINE, CA and ANN ARBOR, MI--(Marketwire - July 9, 2010) -  Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, fundraising and marketing solutions in college athletics, announced today that the University of Michigan (U-M) has renewed its long-term partnership through 2016. The partnership allows Michigan to continue to leverage the power of Paciolan's ticketing and fundraising software to serve Wolverine fans with innovative online tools through their athletics website, http://www.mgoblue.com

"When it came time to renew our partnership, we considered our long history of success with Paciolan, coupled with their innovation and product offerings," said Marty Bodnar, associate athletics director, ticketing & marketing, University of Michigan. "We've been very successful selling tickets online to Wolverine fans and providing them a world-class experience. When we complemented that success with the flexibility of powerful fundraising software and innovative tools to help build and grow customer relationships, the answer was clear. We're renewing with Paciolan. "

Recognized as one of the nation's leading universities, Michigan continues to demonstrate excellence year after year in online ticket sales. In 2009 Michigan was again one of the nation's leading athletics organizations on the web, where 62 percent of season football tickets were transacted online. The Michigan box office also exceeds industry standards in online single ticket sales as they routinely sell more than 90 percent of all athletics event tickets through mgoblue.com. Additionally, Michigan's innovation was demonstrated as one of the pioneers and ongoing leading adopters of Paciolan's online check payment method. Michigan utilizes this payment method to save money on credit card fees, while providing a convenient way to purchase season tickets.

Michigan continues to leverage their Internet sales channel to maximize results and sell tickets for all athletics and special events. In December 2010, the university is hosting the "Big Chill" hockey game between Michigan and Michigan State at Michigan Stadium. Michigan athletics has already sold more than 100,000 tickets to the game making it the most tickets sold to a hockey game in history.

"It is a pleasure to continue to partner with one of the most storied athletics organizations in the country," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "We are excited to extend our work with the Michigan athletics department to provide tools that will serve Wolverine fans with an exceptional experience both now and in the future."
