iGo Unveils Eco-Friendly Wall Charger With Dual USB Ports for Mobile Electronic Devices

Small, Energy Efficient Charger Reduces Electronic Waste and Energy Consumption

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - July 13, 2010) -  iGo (NASDAQ: IGOI), a leading provider of eco-friendly universal chargers and power management solutions, has unveiled the small and energy-efficient iGo® Dual-USB Wall Charger for mobile electronic devices, such as mobile phones, MP3 players, portable game consoles and more. In addition to being the smallest dual-USB wall charger on the market, the iGo Dual-USB Wall Charger reduces both electronic waste and Vampire Power usage, thanks to clever engineering and iGo's patented interchangeable tip technology. A versatile, eco-friendly charger, the iGo Dual-USB Wall exceeds ENERGY STAR® requirements while allowing users to charge two devices at once using the two USB power outputs.

As with all iGo chargers, the eco-friendly iGo Dual-USB Wall Charger ($19.99 MSRP) eliminates the need for multiple chargers and helps consumers reduce electronic waste. The included USB cable plugs into the small wall charger and uses iGo power tips to charge almost every electronic device on the market. By simply changing the power tip, consumers can reuse the same charger over and over again for all of their current and future mobile devices, saving money and reducing e-waste in the process. Additionally, the iGo Wall Charger has folding AC plug blades, making it a convenient travel charger.

"Building on the success of the iGo Green technology line, which virtually eliminates Vampire Power, iGo's commitment to the environment continues with the launch of the iGo Dual-USB Wall Charger," said Michael D. Heil, president and chief executive officer of iGo. "The new iGo Wall Charger exceeds ENERGY STAR requirements for no-load power consumption by over 85%, helping consumers reduce energy consumption and save money."

As consumers waste up to 10% of their monthly electricity bill on Vampire Power -- the energy drawn from devices that are plugged in but not in use -- the energy-efficient iGo Dual-USB Wall Charger reduces the amount of Vampire Power to less than $0.05 of wasted energy a year.

In addition to the new iGo Dual-USB Wall Charger, iGo has also introduced the new iGo Dual-USB Car Charger, which, like the Wall Charger, provides two USB outputs for simultaneous charging of two devices. Both dual-USB chargers are available at www.iGo.com as well as through leading resellers and retailers.
