The Children's Internet Announces Rescheduled Date for Proposed Annual Shareholder Meeting

GOLD RIVER, CA--(Marketwire - July 16, 2010) - The Children's Internet, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CITC) announced today that it has rescheduled its 2010 Annual Shareholder Meeting for December 10, 2010.

Richard J. Lewis III, CEO of CITC, stated that, "The reason we have rescheduled our 2010 Annual Shareholder Meeting to December 10, 2010, is because several key corporate milestones are in various stages of completion, and as such, require all of our corporate focus and capital. First, our Wizard Lock Security™ Beta Test is scheduled for testing during October and November. It is imperative we complete the beta testing of our core product prior to releasing it into the marketplace."

"Second," Mr. Lewis added, "we are in the process of completing our 2008 and 2009 unaudited financial statements, which will be filed within the next 60 days with the preeminent technology and financial information provider for U.S. Over-the-counter securities markets, Pink OTC Markets. In addition, we will be filing unaudited financials for the first three quarters of 2010, which when filed, will allow us fully reporting status. This type of transparency is a necessary part of any proposed annual shareholder meeting."

"Third," Mr. Lewis said, "CITC is in the process of redesigning its web platform with IDEAS, a Disney spin-off and strategic alliance partner. We want to have this major technological upgrade completed prior to our 2010 Annual Shareholder Meeting."

Mr. Lewis concluded by stating that, "We look forward to the 2010 Annual Shareholder Meeting so we can show first-hand to our shareholders the corporate progress we have made the past 12 months, and furthermore, so we can set forth new, achievable corporate milestones for 2011."
