XMOS Appoints Terry Leeder as President and CEO

Semiconductor Veteran Brings Expertise and Leadership to Build on Innovation and Sales


BRISTOL, UK and SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - July 20, 2010) -  XMOS today announced the appointment of industry veteran Terry Leeder as CEO, bringing 37 years of semiconductor sales and global leadership experience. Having held senior positions in both public corporations and entrepreneurial ventures, Leeder replaces interim CEO Charles Cotton, who remains as a board member.

Leeder's background includes management, sales and marketing in the semiconductor business on a global scale. He has held CEO positions at MediaPhy Corporation and Medianix Semiconductor, as well as several senior vice president, vice president and business unit manager positions. He holds a Bachelor of Science (first class) degree from the University of Salford.
