Campaigner Simplifies Building Small Businesses Email Marketing Programs With New Image, Contact and Reporting Tools

Leading Email Marketing Service Integrates Graphics and Editing Tools Into One Central Location

OTTAWA--(Marketwire - August 18, 2010) -  Campaigner, a leading email marketing service provider, today introduced new features aimed at making the service even faster and easier for small businesses to use, regardless of their level of marketing expertise. Chief among these is the ability to edit images directly within Campaigner, eliminating the need to use a separate image editing program. Other features include auto-template personalization, allowing customers to include a standard set of information in every email template; the ability to import email addresses from popular email services; and the opportunity to preview emails before sending.

"Starting and running a small business is time intensive," said Steve Adams, vice president of marketing for Protus, the provider of Campaigner. "We've taken away the stress of having to learn and use multiple software programs by incorporating them into Campaigner. Now our customers can create compelling marketing email campaigns quickly so they have more time to work on what they know best, their business."

New Features Are Significant Time-Savers
Working with images can be a big time sink. Campaigner's new integrated editing capabilities cut out the need for additional graphics programs that can be expensive and hard to use. It is now simple to import an image into the Campaigner library and use the powerful image editing features to crop, rotate and resize while building email newsletters.

Another new time-saving feature is the option to have business contact information such as company name, email, phone number, etc. appear in email templates automatically. This auto-fill feature eliminates the need to enter the information manually each time. Favorite templates can now be saved for easier re-use.

The new email preview function allows testing of the look-and-feel of emails with one click of the mouse. Users can quickly view what their email will look like when it is received by customers. Users can also see how an email will look when viewed by recipients who have images turned off in their email. This functionality allows the email creator to refine the use of pictures and make the email appealing for all recipients.

In addition, users can now easily import email contacts from Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo! to quickly create a database of prospects and customers without manipulating lists, a task that can be daunting for some. Campaigner automatically checks to ensure no duplicate emails are imported and permission levels are maintained after an import.

Campaigner offers a free 30-day email marketing trial and a free eBook with tips and techniques to get started on effective email marketing.
