Leading Retailers to Discuss Employee Engagement, Implementation of Global HR Systems at Next Month's Kenexa World Conference

Fifth Annual Kenexa World Conference to Feature Executives From Cabela's, Lowe's, Walmart

WAYNE, PA--(Marketwire - August 26, 2010) -  Kenexa (NASDAQ: KNXA), a global provider of business solutions for human resources, today announced the addition of sessions that highlight how retail organizations are transforming human resources through employee engagement and global HR systems to the agenda of the upcoming 2010 Kenexa World Conference. Happening Tuesday, September 21 through Thursday, September 23, 2010, in Philadelphia, Pa., the Kenexa World Conference will give companies the information they need to transform HR and move from potential to performance.

The "Culture and Engagement at Cabela's" presentation will provide a real-life case study of how Cabela's, a leading specialty retailer of hunting, fishing, camping and related outdoor merchandise, used cultural assessments and engagement surveys to understand the organization, develop its new employee value proposition -- "The Nature of Cabela's" -- and help express the new vision for the company. Charles Baldwin, executive vice president and Chief Administrative Officer at Cabela's, will join Tony Coe, Kenexa's Culture Consultant, to discuss the theory behind employee engagement, as well as the process of developing the company's employee value proposition and the outcomes from its implementation.

Focused on Lowe's Companies, Inc.'s implementation of Kenexa Recruiter® BrassRing (KRB) in more than 1,700 locations, the session, "Rapid High-Volume Solution Deployment at an Impossible Time," will demonstrate how Lowe's consolidated four applicant tracking systems and several outdated processes by implementing KRB in both the U.S. and Canada. Chris Thomsen, vice president of Human Capital Management Systems at Lowe's, and Susan Addison, manager of Recruiting Operations at Lowe's, will discuss the rapid deployment strategy and methodology used. Within five months, at the busiest time of the year for Lowe's, the first 200 stores were deployed with all store locations completed within eight months and all supply chain locations completed within nine months. The presenters also will share the challenges faced during the implementation and how Lowe's leveraged KRB to increase efficiencies and add to the bottom line.

In a session titled "15+20+6+22.5 million=1: How Are We Getting There?" Antoine Jenkins, senior manager of Recruiting Support and Strategy for Walmart, will share Walmart's approach to implementing its first truly global HR system. Jenkins' presentation will describe how Walmart has addressed its HR needs in 15 countries with more than 20 unique business units across six legacy systems and multiple paper-only processes with 22.5 million applications a year around the globe. The presentation will focus on Walmart's global implementation of Kenexa 2x BrassRing™, a highly configurable and scalable global HR technology recruiting solution.

The fifth annual Kenexa World Conference, which will feature best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell as a keynote speaker, promises to transform HR through outliers, helping organizations move beyond potential to drive business performance. To reveal true human potential to improve business results, companies must identify and nurture high performers and create the right environment for them to thrive. Attendees of the conference will come to understand how the right individuals in the right environment lead to ultimate success.

The 2010 Kenexa World Conference will be held at The Sheraton Society Hill Hotel, One Dock Street, Philadelphia, Pa. For more information or to register, visit www.kenexa.com.
