Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Ahold has repurchased 743,677 Ahold common shares in the period from August 23, 2010 up to and including August 27, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of
€ 9.7062 per share for a total consideration of € 7.22 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 20,384,007 common shares for a total consideration of € 207 million.
