Throughout the event, discussion will range from avoiding credit card debt to understanding paycheck deductions and why saving now, can change their future.

Flores will address the basics of paychecks and the payroll withholding system, specifically discussing the elements of a paycheck, the amount of taxes that are withheld and how those taxes are calculated. Altier, a financial expert with 30 years of financial management experience, will provide actionable insights into the benefits of savings and how to achieve financial security.

This workshop-style session, sponsored by CyberShift, supports WOS' mission to help inner city students develop the technological and social skills needed for a career in IT services while providing businesses an alternative to offshore outsourcing.
