Fuwei Films Announces Adjournment of Annual General Meeting to September 23, 2010


BEIJING--(Marketwire - September 16, 2010) -  Fuwei Films (Holdings) Co. Limited (NASDAQ: FFHL), a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality BOPET plastic film located in China, today announced that its 2010 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of shareholders, originally scheduled to be held on September 16, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. (EDT) was adjourned this morning for lack of a quorum in accordance with the Company's Articles of Incorporation.

The AGM was adjourned to provide the Company with additional time to solicit proxies from its shareholders to establish the requisite quorum for the conduct of business at the AGM. During the pendency of the adjourned meeting, shareholders are encouraged to vote on the matters to be considered at the AGM. Shareholders may also change their vote by executing a new proxy.

The AGM has been adjourned to September 23, 2010 9:00a.m. (EDT) at 825 Third Avenue, 18th Floor, New York, New York 10022. Holders of record of ordinary shares of the Company at the close of business on July 30, 2010 are entitled to receive notice of and attend the adjourned meeting. Beneficial owners of the Company's ordinary shares are welcome to attend the adjourned meeting in person.
